How to give another Account access to your Google My Business Listing

Introduction

This guide explains how to give another Google User Account access to your Google My Business Listing. This will allow the other User Account to manage the Listing. It will also allow you to transfer ownership to them.

Requirements

A Google User Account with full permissions in the Google My Business Account you want to change.

Skill Level

Basic knowledge of browsers.

Instructions

Time needed: 5 minutes.

  1. Go to the Google My Business site.

    Go to https://business.google.com/.
    If you’re not already logged in, click Manage now, enter the email or phone number associated with your Google Account, click Next, then enter your password and click Next.Google Account Password field and Next button - screenshot

  2. Go to the Users page.

    If you have multiple Listings, open the one that you’d like to change.

  3. Add a User.

    Click the add user icon at the top right and select Invite new users.Google My Business New User drop down and Invite new users option - screenshot

  4. Enter the details of the user.

    In the Enter names or email addresses field, enter the email address of the new user and press enter.
    In the Choose a role drop down, select the permissions they should have.
    Click Invite.
    The recipient will need to accept the invitation before they have access to the Listing (or you can transfer ownership to them).v
