This guide explains how to install the Yoast SEO plugin in WordPress. This will help to improve the SEO of your site, including generating a sitemap.
The plugin also includes search engine friendly markup (using https://schema.org/ standards) for FAQs and How To instructions.
Requirements
WordPress Admin Account.

Basic knowledge of WordPress.
Instructions
Time needed: 5 minutes.
- Log into WordPress Admin.
This is usually accessed via yourdomain.com/wp-admin.
- Go to the Add Plugins page.
In the main menu, click Plugins > Add New.
- Search for the Yoast SEO plugin.
In the Search plugins… field, enter Yoast SEO.
- Install the Yoast SEO plugin.
In the Yoast SEO listing, click Install Now.
- Activate the Yoast SEO plugin.
After the plugin has installed, click Activate in the Yoast SEO listing.
- Start using the Yoast SEO plugin.
